Share Your Success Story:

it's a personal success story, a program your church or organization has
developed that's working in your local area, or an existing program that
you want to endorse, please share your story here.
Add a resource:
The WHO ARE YOU? section of the website offers lists of existing
health and wellness resources currently available to Arkansas Methodists,
including as many regional and local resources as we are aware of. Do you
know of one or more not listed? Examples of regional and local resources
would be free health clinics, childbirth and parenting classes, exercise
groups, health education opportunities, food banks and more. If you know
of a resource in your local community, please let us know so that we can
add it to our list.
United Methodist Health Professionals:
The African proverb "It takes a village" is today an
often-heard and repeated phrase. Never has it been more relevant than in
today's world, though. The numbers of those not covered by health insurance
is rising, and many in our nation do not have access to quality health care.
We hope to use this resource as a first step in building a network of United
Methodist Health Professionals to guide and support the conference and its
members in our efforts to build a healthier community of faith.

Happy are those who find wisdom, and those who get understanding. ... She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called happy.
Proverbs 3:13,18
"Sir," the man replied, "leave [the tree] alone for one more year, and I'll dig around it and fertilize it."'
